All the times that has required me to look for project information I used google search. This kind of search is helpful when you double check information and many times they also have good articles from organizations. But lately while looking for reliable documents I have used Denver Public Schools website called lion to look for scholarly articles. I have also used other library websites that have documents stored in their database. Although I have found the information that I have needed the were hard thing about finding information like when you look for a specific topic, many things that are related but don't give you the information you need make the search more wide in different places. It helps reading this articles that talk about your topic but when you need last minute information this kind of information frustrates me.
The time I spent in library research helped me in my researching skills by showing me what kinds of information is reliable depending in DOCTOr. This will be very useful when you do serious work that will require you to verify over and over the information that you have acquired. The plagiarism lesson was more of a refresher since I already knew some basic elements like citing in and out of text. But I learned what kinds of things require citation and how to identify plagiarism. I not only learned a lot but also had a lot of in class activities about what the lesson taught us.

No need for books
Regarding the quote "Since everything is on the internet,I don't need books.....right?" I believe that this is becoming part of a lot of people's life but is not necessarily true. Reading books is more comfortable through the actual possession of the book. And if it's required you can cite things it's better to have the book to skin important information. It is easier because you have instant internet right away and the book you might have to buy it or find it. In many cases it is difficult to find certain book and that's when the internet comes in handy. The internet is very useful to verify facts and information that is already known. But will never be replaced because the internet is not a reliable source and often times is not useful. Besides there's a large industry in the book production and selling that it will affect it like Ipods and electronic music storages have done to CD which are not of much concern because education is not involved in the selling of CD's.Besides this it's difficult for third and even second world countries to get access to a computer and internet. This makes books a better source of information that can be reused by multiple people over time and does not require to be paying a fee for internet. For instance if there were to be a computer setting in a rural area or third world country, students would have to get some sort of transportation to get to a computer, but books would have made it more easy and less time consuming to find a computer in a case like this.
Health issues will also be involved in the competition of books against internet because books are less harmful to your eyes since they have the natural lighting of the sun and not contrast and brightness settings like computers do.
